Peoples Choice, Incorporated (PCI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community-based organization providing health related services and referrals that address the specific needs of the residents in San Bernardino and surrounding communities. Its mission is to create healthy, empowered families through the integration of support systems.
In October of 1982, Black healthcare professionals culminated a shared vision and established a health agency that would favorably impact the health status of minority and low-income families.
Today, PCI is centrally located in a predominantly African-American and Hispanic/Latino area in the city of San Bernardino. PCI offers community residents a variety of services, including: case management, outreach services, health education, drug abuse treatment and education, psycho-social assessments of drug abuse clients, and skill building workshops.
PCI offers a diverse group of friendly and knowledgeable professionals to meet these service needs and hires from the community it serves. Volunteers are always needed and always welcome.
We offer the following programs: Black Infant Health, Early Start Family Resource Center, HABLO (Helping Adolescents Build Life Options) & TASK (Teen Alcohol Substance Kare).
